How a brief actually runs at RTR

The discipline shapes part of the workflow, but the bulk of it is the same. Whether it is a finance manager in Bristol or a marketing director in Manchester, the steps stay steady.

1. Discipline-aware brief

We come into the call ready. If it is finance, we know which qualifications matter at that level. If it is sales, we know the difference between an SDR and a BDM. We do not waste your call asking the basics.

2. Salary calibration against the live market

Every shortlist is calibrated against current UK salary data and what we are seeing on the desk this month. London differs from Manchester, Glasgow differs from Cardiff. If the band looks low for the role, we tell you before we start, not after the offer is rejected.

3. Vetted, ranked shortlist

Three to six candidates per brief, properly vetted, with our written notes. Right-to-work, references, qualifications, motivation, all confirmed before introduction.

4. Offer support and onboarding

We coordinate the offer, manage counter-offer pressure, line up start dates, and check in on day 7, 30 and 90.

Disciplines we deliberately do not cover

Industrial, manufacturing and trades work sit best with sector specialists, so we point those briefs to trusted partner agencies. Same with clinical healthcare and executive search above £200k base. We will tell you within one call if we are not the right fit.
